Potassium (K) usually appears on soil test reports as parts per million (ppm) K. Occasionally, the value will appear as pounds per acre (ppa) K or K2O (potash).

Note: Do not use Effective Cation Exchange Capacity (ECEC) where Total Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) is requested. To convert ECEC to CEC, click here.
Note: Soils that have CEC >15.0 are more difficult to saturate with the desired nutrient. Use the lower end of the normal saturation range where the CEC is very high.
