Peanut meal is a by-product of the U.S. peanut oil industry, i.e., the remaining material after all the oil is extracted. The meal is from non-GMO peanuts. Unfortunately, we are unable to get this material granulated any longer so the consistency is fine and a little dusty. Peanut meal typically contains 8 percent total nitrogen (~5.5 percent water insoluble), 1 percent available phosphate (P2O5), and 2 percent soluble potash (K2O).
